This is an ongoing process which requires the company to continually evaluate the adequacy of our existing environmental controls, and where necessary select further environmental controls that further reduce the company's environmental impact.

Its purpose is to facilitate and support international trade by developing standards that people everywhere would recognize and respect. ISO achieves this purpose through the participation and support of its member bodies.

ISO standards are developed by technical committees who are responsible for environmental management systems.
